My grandfather worked in the bijouterie industry and used to give me all sorts of sparkling stones and fake jewelry. When I started listening to Rap music I scribbled little graphics of "BlingBling" into my schoolbooks. Later I spray painted walls with huge diamonds. I cultivated quite an obsession with everything that can be called a diamond or crystal. To me, they seemed to be objects worth exploring. And so I did and still do. Here is a small collection of some artistic explorations that were inspired by this solid, sparkling and sensitive matter.
